Debate #2
Voter: “Senator McCain, How would you … ?”
McCain: “My friend, I know how to get things done.” Followed by attacks.
And so it went for 90 minutes. I thought the town hall format was supposed to be his best event! At this stage I need to know specifics. Ideas. Why I am going to vote for you, not why I have to vote against the other guy. At least I can take some comfort in the fact that there is now less than 4 weeks until this turkey is done.
‘nough said.

Joe,
If you believe for one second that “this turkey” (I am assuming you meant to refer to the election) has only 4 weeks left to go, you may have forgotten about the last two elections.
As I see it, we may not know the outcome till way after the traditional inauguration date is (postponed) passed.
The courts work in very slow and convoluted/tortuous ways. . .
Hell, they won’t even get to most of the ACORN allegations till well after Christmas; and that’s only the very tip of this iceberg.
In the mean time, it’ll be more Bushco ineptness, like more bailouts for those who were at the helm causing the current crisis. . .

Actually no, I was referring to McCain. Barring any major blunder by Obama, I seriously doubt that this election will be close enough to end up in any dispute, let alone a court room. McCain went out of character and into the party scripted talking head upon his nomination – what a crime. Palin was a brilliant choice had he delayed that announcement until the Friday before the election and had she been able to dodge the reporters.
I am not planning to watch the 3rd debate tonight. I’ve seen and heard too much that I just can’t go along with and nothing I could possibly hear tonight will convince me that I’ve just misunderstood his positions. That turkey is done.

I watched that debate.
Both red buttons popped.
SIGH. . .
